S&P Does Not Believe U.S. will Default

Standard & Poor's President, Deven Sharma, told a House Financial Services subcommittee Wednesday he does not expect the U.S. will default on its obligations and that the agency is waiting to see a final plan about deficit reduction. He repeated the company's view that there has to be a "credible" plan from Washington.
