BATS Global Markets expects to launch a primary listings market in the U.S. during the fourth quarter. This would compete with current primary-listings markets like the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: NYX) and the NASDAQ market (NASDAQ: NDAQ), as well as additional pinksheet markets owned by firms like Rodman & Renshaw Capital (NASDAQ: RODM).
