Optical Cable Corporation Reports Q1 EPS of $0.06

Optical Cable Corporation (Nasdaq: OCCF) today announced financial results for its fiscal first quarter ended January 31, 2011.

OCC recorded net income attributable to the Company of $402,000, or $0.06 per basic and diluted share, for the first quarter of fiscal year 2011, compared to a net loss attributable to the Company of $316,000, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share, for the first quarter of fiscal year 2010.

Consolidated net sales increased 18.0% to $17.7 million for the first quarter of fiscal year 2011 compared to net sales of $15.0 million for the comparable period in fiscal year 2010.
