Aberdeen Global Income Fund, Inc. Announces Record Date and Payment Date for Monthly Distribution

Aberdeen Global Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: FCO) announced today that it will pay a monthly distribution of US 7.0 cents per share on April 15, 2011 to all shareholders of record as of March 31, 2011 (ex-dividend date March 29, 2011).

The Board's policy is to provide investors with a stable monthly distribution out of current income, supplemented by realized capital gains and, to the extent necessary, paid-in capital. This policy is subject to regular review at the Board's quarterly meetings unless market conditions require an earlier evaluation. The next review is scheduled to take place in June 2011.
