Taiwan Stocks Fall 1.13% (EWT)

Stocks opened Friday trading in Taiwan in positive territory, then steadily fell lower for the rest of the day, ending the session well into negative territory. The Taiwan Capitalization Weighted Stock Index, or the TSEC weighted index, opened the Friday trading session in Taiwan at 8,905.25, which was higher than the previous trading day's close of 8,883.21. The TSEC weighted index ended the Friday trading session down 100.49 points, or 1.13%, at 8,782.72. The TSEC weighted index traded between 8,738.93 and 8,907.11.
