Immucor Rises In After Hours On Earnings Upside (BLUD)
Immucor (NASDAQ: BLUD) released its second quarter earnings results after the closing bell on Thursday. The company reported net income of $21.1 million or $0.30 per share versus $19.7 million or $0.28 per share in the year ago period. This compared to Wall Street consensus EPS estimates of $0.27 per share.
Revenue came in at $81.54 million compared to $82.57 million in the year ago quarter. This also beat analysts' consensus estimates of $79.94 million.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2011, BLUD expects earnings per share to be in a range of $1.08 to $1.18. Revenue is anticipated to be between $320 million and $332 million.
This compares to Street estimates of $1.13 on revenue of $326.14 million. In the after hours trading session, BLUD has risen 5.13% to $20.30.
