AVANIR Pharmaceuticals Completes Public Offering of 20M Shares

AVANIR Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

today announced that it has completed the previously announced underwritten public offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock, offered at a price of $4.40 per share. The net proceeds to AVANIR from the sales of shares in this offering, after deducting customary underwriting discounts and commissions, were approximately $83.2 million.
