said today that it plans to host a live audio Webcast of its media and investor conference call today, October 4, 2010, at 4:15 pm to discuss the U.S. Department of Justice filing of a civil lawsuit against American Express. Live audio of the conference call will be accessible to the media, investors and the general public on the American Express Web site at http://ir.americanexpress.com. A replay of the conference call will also be available that day at the same Web site address.
