PPD Opens a New Office in Russia

today announced it has opened an office in Novosibirsk, Russia, building on the growth of its Phase II-IV clinical development services in Eastern Europe. PPD will provide clinical monitoring services in key therapeutic areas from this location. The new office strengthens PPD's presence in Russia, a country where it already has offices in Moscow, Smolensk and St. Petersburg. PPD is one of the largest CROs operating in Central and Eastern Europe, an important, high-growth market for clinical trials that offers efficient access to patients and a well-developed, centralized health care system.
