Walter Pryor Joins Career Education Corporation as VP

Career Education Corporation (NASDAQ: CECO) today announced the hiring of Walter Pryor as Vice President of Government Affairs.

Pryor is an attorney with extensive experience in Washington, D.C., most recently as principal and general counsel of The Podesta Group. He served as legislative director to Sen. Mark Pryor from 2003 to 2006. Before that, he was deputy director and managing attorney for the National Association of Attorneys General and a member of the Justice Department during the administration of President Bill Clinton.
