The bear market ETFs dominated the gainers among the ETFs today as the Dow Jones suffered a triple digit decline.

ProShares UltraShort Semiconductors (ETF) (NYSE: SSG) is 5.89% up as Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) and Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN) are struggling today. Applied Materials (AMAT) fell the most among the mentioned companies, with a 4.32% decline, and Intel (INTC) dropped 3.17%. Texas Instruments (TXN) lost 0.85%.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares(ETF) (NYSE: FAZ) added 5.17%, on the weak day for Russell 1000 Financial Services (RGS) Index which is 1.79% down. JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) fell approximately 2.26% after its CEO said that he sees a $1 billion loss in loans in the first half of the year. Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) was also affected by this guidance, it fell 3.33%.

Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X Shares (ETF) (NYSE: TZA) added 3.87% as the Russell 2000 index lost 1.44%.

ProShares UltraPro Short S&P 500 (ETF) (NYSE: SPXU) is another bear ETF that is up today. It jumped 3.87% on the weak day for General Electric (NYSE: GE), Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG) and JP Morgan (JPM). GE fell 1.56%, Apple (AAPL) lost 1.67%, while PG dropped 1.23%.
