American International Group (NYSE: AIG) is surging in mid day trading, currently up 12% on 22mil shares, avg 11 mil.
Currently we are not hearing what is driving the volume/price spike, though (AIG) has been in elevated talks over spinning off various units.
The March 35 calls are the most active with 19,000 traded on an O/I or 12,200.
