Interactive Brokers Up 1% After MF Rumors
Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: IBKR) shares are higher today, but had been much higher earlier in the session after rumors surfaced that it would be the company to buy MF Global (NYSE: MF).
Ultimately, that did not happen, and MF Global filed for bankruptcy.
At last check, shares of Interactive Brokers were up 19 cents to $15.41, a gain of 1.25% on 2.7 million shares. The average daily volume is just under 700,000 shares.
