Resorts & Casinos industry was the best performing industry on Monday. It gained 2.94%, and in the space Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) gained 5.21%. MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) gained 5.13%, and Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) added 4.63%.
Manufactured housing industry also did well today. It gained 2.22%, as Cavco Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: CVCO) jumped 3.42%, and Skyline Corporation (NYSE: SKY) traded 1.16% higher.
Silver industry moved 1.85% higher today. Silver Wheaton Corp. (USA) (NYSE: SLW) had a successful trading session, with an increase of 3.13%. Hecla Mining Company (NYSE: HL) gained 2.17% today.
Nonmetallic Mineral Mining industry jumped 1.74% on Monday, as Mountain Province Diamonds, Inc. (AMEX: MDM) spiked 8.87%. New Gold Inc. (USA) (AMEX: NGD) jumped 3.70%, and SinoCoking Coal and Coke Chem Ind, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOK) gained 3.56%.
Diversified Communication Services industry traded 1.66% higher. American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) added 2.90%, and closed at $51.05. AMT had a volume of 3.02M traded shares.
