Jim Cramer's Emerging Market Picks (VALE, BBD, STD, CHU, PCU)
Jim Cramer shared on CNBC's Mad Money show his investment preferences in emerging markets. He likes stocks from Brazil, Peru and China.
In Brazil, he likes Vale (ADR) (NYSE: VALE), an iron ore producer, that also has some exposure to copper and nickel. Cramer thinks that Vale's (VALE) earnings will grow 40% this year as he expects commodity prices to grow. He also likes Brazilian banks, Banco Bradesco SA (ADR) (NYSE: BBD) and Banco Santander, S.A. (ADR) (NYSE: STD), because he thinks that Brazil is experiencing a credit revolution.
In China, Cramer would buy China Unicom Limited (NYSE: CHU), the largest phone company in China, which is an exclusive carrier of iPhone. China Unicom (CHU) closed 0.83% up on Wednesday.
Southern Copper Corporation (USA) (NYSE: PCU) is the Peruvian stock that Cramer likes. Southern Copper (PCU) is the fifth mining company in the world and it is located in a country that is rich in natural resources. With China's demand for commodities growing, a company that makes 70% of its revenue on commodities will profit, in Cramer's opinion.
