JP Morgan (NYSE: JPM) analyst Charles Grom said on CNBC's Fast Money that investors should own Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE: WMT) and Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) ahead of Black Friday. He said that these two stocks should be looked as a balance in the portfolio that should also consist of a little bit riskier stocks like Kohl's (NYSE: KSS) and Macy's (NYSE: M).

Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) gained 0.31% today and Dollar Tree (DLTR) jumped 4.54%. Kohl's (KSS) was 0.39% up, while Macy's (M) added 1.67%.
