Warren Buffet has consistently beaten the market despite the financial crisis, which is one of the main reasons that his firm, Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A) has consistently posted profits for years. Here is their list of the 15 publicly traded stocks that Berkshire Hathaway has the heaviest investments on.
One of the major holdings of Berkshire Hathaway is Nike (NYSE: NKE). Berkshire Hathaway owns 7,641,000 shares worth $478.55 million and their Stake on Nike is 1.57%.
The next stock on their list is Union Pacific Corp (NYSE: UNP) with a stake in the company of 1.9%. Their holding of Union Pacific Corp is approximately worth $567.8 million with 9,558,000 shares.
Washington Post (NYSE: WPO) is the next stock on the list with an 18.38% stake on the company. Berkshire holds 1,727,765 shares for approximately $738.15 million.
It is surprising that they actually hold this much of Washington Post, considering Warren Buffet himself publicly said that the newspaper industry is in dire trouble because of the lack of a sustainable business model.
Berkshire holds 38,066,685 shares of Moody’s (NYSE: MCO) for a holding a value of $876.78 million. Their stake in Moody’s is 16.11%.
Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) is one of the biggest companies in their holdings. Their stake in Wal-Mart is 0.51%. The value of their shares in WMT is $994.82 and 19,944,300 shares.
USBancorp (NYSE: USB) makes up $1.62 billion from over 69 million shares of the whole holdings of Berkshire Hathaway. Berkshire’s stake on USBancorp is 3.61%.
With 80.1% stake on the Wesco Financial Corp (NYSE: WSC), Berkshire owns approximately $1.86 million and 5,703,000 shares.
Berkshire owns $2.17 billion worth of Johnson and Johnson (NYSE: JNJ). Their stake in Johnson and Johnson is 1.34%.
ConocoPhilips (NYSE: COP) is the next company in the list, with a holding value of 3.27 billion from 64,485,759 shares. They hold a stake of 4.35% on ConocoPhilips.

Finally, the largest holding of Berkshire Hathaway is allocated into Coca Cola (NYSE: KO) with a holding value of $10.63 billion. They own 200,000,000 shares for an 8.63% stake in Coca Cola.
