Mad Money Lightning Round: Jim Thinks SD, NVDA, ORA, CVE Are Great Investments
In the "Mad Money Lightning Round," Jim Cramer said that although everyone dislikes SandRidge Energy (NYSE: SD), it is a great stock to invest in.
Cramer said that American Express (NYSE: AXP) has had a gigantic run and is in for a pullback. He preferred Visa (NYSE: V) and JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) instead. While AXP lost 0.09% and V fell 0.11%, JPM stepped down 0.56% in after hours.
Jim asked investors to stick with NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) as it possesses proprietary technology. He thought that the stock will shine once it is “out of the mud.” NVDA has slipped 1.00% in after hours trading.
When asked about Ormat Technologies (NYSE: ORA), Jim said that all alternative energy stocks are getting a beating and seem to have come down enough. He believed it was a good time to buy. ORA’s shares jumped 1.84% in after hours.
Jim said that commenting on Goodyear Tire & Rubber (NYSE: GT) was difficult at present but that he would be a buyer if the share price falls by $2. GT gained 2.88% yesterday.
Cramer said that Cenovus Energy (NYSE: CVE) is bringing out value and is a good investment. CVE’s shares fell 0.53% yesterday.
Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) should be bought only at a price less than $24, according to Jim. Anything above that will be expensive. BMY slipped 1.40% in yesterday’s trading.
Cramer considers Foster Wheeler (NASDAQ: FWLT) as the worst stock in the neighborhood that is seeing improvement. He said that it is difficult for him to recommend FWLT since other stocks are doing much better. FWLT is down 1.59% in after hours trading.
