Jim Cramer's Lightning Round Picks (APD, WEN, MCD, TSRA, VSI, VITC, PTV, IP, STXS, ABT, NMM, ATPG, GMCR)
CNBC Mad Money's Jim Cramer said in the segment of his show called Lightning Round that he likes Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), but the stock has moved up too much and should be sold. Air Products & Chemicals (APD) dropped 0.43% today.
Cramer likes Wendy's Arby's Group Inc. (NYSE: WEN), but he thinks this stock is not the best of the breed. He believes that McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) is the best. Cramer said that both stocks should be bought. Wendy's (WEN) fell 1.05% today, while McDonald's Corporation (MCD) dropped 0.22%.
Tessera Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSRA) is in the penalty box, Cramer said. They came to the show and promised big things, but didn't delivered. Tessera (TSRA) lost 1.43% today.
Vitamin stocks have been very good over time, and Cramer likes Vitamin Shoppe, Inc (NYSE: VSI). The viewer asked about Vitacost.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: VITC) and Cramer answered that he has to do an analysis before making a call on this stock. VSI fell 3.49% today and VITC added 1.62%.
Pactiv Corporation (NYSE: PTV) should not be sold thinks Cramer. This is an inexpensive and well run company. International Paper Company (NYSE: IP) is also doing well in the space. Business is good for the group. Pactiv (PTV) fell 0.73% and International Paper (IP) declined 2.27% today.
Stereotaxis, Inc. (NASDAQ: STXS) is a speculative play. and instead of owning Stereotaxis (STXS) you should buy a quality company like Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT). Stereoaxis (STXS) fell 3.10% today, and Abbott Lab. (ABT) dropped 0.58%.
Navios Maritime Partners L.P. (NYSE: NMM) should not be bought because it has a dividend that is too big and investors that own the stock should be worried. Navios (NMM) fell 1.68% today.
ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (NASDAQ: ATPG) is a good natural gas play, but Cramer is worried about natural gas prices and can't recommend it. ATP Oil & Gas (ATPG) fell 2.59% on Friday.
Cramer thinks that the viewer that owns Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) should sell all cost basis on Monday and play with the gains. Cramer believes that GMCR will continue to go up. GMCR dropped 3% today.
