Mad Money Lightning Round: Jim Endorses F, EZPW, RRC, CLNE; Dislikes AMLN, FSYS, XTO, AONE

In his "Mad Money Lightning Round," Jim Cramer told investors that they can invest in the common and preferred shares of Ford Motor (NYSE: F) as sales of the company are soaring. F’s shares rose 0.70% to close at $12.91 yesterday.

Jim commented on Ezcorp (NASDAQ: EZPW), saying that this pawn shop play is inexpensive. EZPW’s shares fell 1.47% to close at $21.52 in yesterday’s trading.

Jim was nervous on Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: AMLN) as the shares have already had a great run up. AMLN’s shares climbed 1.39% to close at $21.19.

Cramer clarified that although he would have preferred Fuel Systems Solutions (NASDAQ: FSYS) six points ago and at the current price, there is limited move ahead. FSYS jumped 8.04%.

When asked about XTO Energy (NYSE: XTO), Jim emphasized that at current price, it’s not a deal and he would rather shift to Range Resources (NYSE: RRC). While XTO moved up 0.02%, RRC lost 0.08%.

Jim disclosed his dislike for alternative battery stocks such as A123 Systems (NASDAQ: AONE) and refused to endorse AONE. AONE slipped 2.39%.

Jim expressed his belief in the clean-fuel filling station model of Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ: CLNE). According to him, CLNE has had an impressive quarter and the stock is should go higher. CLNE soared 15.84% yesterday.
