NASDAQ is currently trading at high levels but is still well below the peak it reached a decade ago.
Talking with CNBC, Kevin Landis, portfolio manager at The Firsthand Funds, shared his outlook about the market. According to Landis, markets are very cautiously valued at the moment. He said that the current valuations do not contain any exuberance in them.
Landis stated that mere economic recovery is not big enough a stimulus for technology stocks. He said that the tech stocks need a further catalyst to go on an upward trajectory.
Landis picked Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX), Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), and Verifone Holdings (NYSE: PAY) as his favorites.
