‘Buy & Hold’ Not Relevant In Today’s Market: Analyst Tells CNBC

In an interview with CNBC, Mike Holland, chairman of Holland & Company, shared his thoughts on the U.S. equity markets.

Holland, while speaking to CNBC, said, “People are still, as a group, pretty unfavourably disposed towards toward U.S. stocks — particularly large-cap stocks.” However, he expects things to pick up as the year goes on.

Right at this moment, he believes the short term is riskier than the long run, but insists the logic of “buy and hold” has run its course.
