Jim Cramer said in CNBC's Mad Money Lightning Round that he prefers Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) instead of Office Depot, Inc. (NYSE: ODP). Staples (SPLS) dropped 2.97% today, and it is now so low that Jim Cramer thinks it should be bought. He added that the conference call was not so bad.

Cramer also likes AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) because of its cash flow. He likes Verizon (NYSE: VZ) for the same reason. AT&T Inc. (T) gained 0.04% and Verizon (VZ) lost 0.44%.

Human Genome Sciences (NASDAQ: HGSI) is a good speculative play in Mr. Cramer's opinion. Human Genome Sciences (HGSI) added 3.39% today.

EnCana Corporation (USA) (NYSE: ECA) is a great natural gas play that Jim Cramer highly recommends. EnCana Corporation (USA) (ECA) fell 0.90% today.

Cramer also likes Ford Motor Credit Company LLC (NYSE: FCZ). He believes this stock is more than just a good yield. FCZ fell 0.18% today.

Hansen Natural Corporation (NASDAQ: HANS) is a long term play, and it is ready to make a come back. Cramer likes this stock. Hansen Natural Corporation
(HANS) fell 0.93%.

Cramer believes that American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) is worth very little. It owes a lot of money to the government and it would be a lot lower if it weren't for the short sellers. AIG fell 0.60% and closed at $24.88. You should sell now, while it is worth something.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK.B) is buy in Cramer's opinion. He thinks Buffett is a genius and likes his portfolio, including rails. Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK.B) jumped 2.70% today.
