Mike Khouw Sees Unusual Options Activity In J C Penney Company Inc

Mike Khouw spoke on

CNBC's Options Action about bullish options activity in J C Penney Company Inc JCP. Options trading volume was twice the daily average volume on Tuesday and the most active strike was the May 9 call. Traders were paying $0.30 for them, which sets break even for the trade at $9.30 or approximately 4.5 percent higher. The stock moves on average almost 10 percent on earnings, explained Khouw and he added that in such environment it makes sense to limit the risk with options.
