On CNBC's Fast Money
, Karen Finerman and Dan Nathan spoke about
Macy's, Inc.M
and its future price movement. Finerman is bullish on the stock because the company has the best management and it also has a great scale which gives it a buying power. The expectations for stock are already lowered ahead of the earnings and it is trading cheap on absolute basis. Finerman added that
Macy's, Inc.
trades below its average value to the S&P 500. Dan Nathan agreed that the stock has cheap valuation but he thinks that the key question is why is it trading at such a low valuation. The company lowered the guidance for the current quarter and Nathan expects to see a tough holiday season with a lot of pressure on margins. He is concerned because some of the big names in the space have already failed to meet the sales expectations.
