Speaking on CNBC's Mad Dash, Jim Cramer talked about a potential partnership between Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Visa (NYSE: V).

He mentioned that T-Mobile (NYSE: TMUS) CEO, John Legere, said last week that the iPhone 6 is coming out and Cramer believes that iPhone 6 was called "iconic" by Legere because the phone has mobile payments in it.

Cramer added that Visa CEO, Charles Scharf, talked about the revolution that is coming in mobile payments. This statement led Cramer to think about a handset and he believes that it could be the iPhone 6.

He explained that "mobile payments is the way of the future" and he is watching the development. He said that Visa has great contacts with every bank and it is quite possible that it could offer the right solution for mobile payments.

Visa is trading 0.09 percent higher Monday, while Apple is down 0.56 percent.
