Carl Icahn phoned into the Fast Money Halftime report today to talk about some of his recent investments. Icahn is a large shareholder in Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: AMLN) and he said that he believes that Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) may still be a potential suitor for AMLN despite the fact that Eli Lilly's CEO has publicly said he is not interested in the biotech company.

Icahn also spoke about his 30% stake in Lion's Gate Entertainment (NYSE: LGF). He said that the company "has potential," and he thinks that shareholders should have a say in any acquisitions Lion's Gate might make. He said that he is not looking to take control of LGF, but he wants to have some influence over any decisions that management might make.

After talking about his position in Lion's Gate, the legendary investor made a few comments about his 4.8 million share stake in Genzyme (NASDAQ: GENZ). Icahn said that Genzyme is "not that well managed," and hinted that he may try to force changes at the company.
