Mad Money Lightning Round: Jim Likes Natural Gas, Is Wary Of Solar Stocks (COP, BKH, SYA, WFT, SFD, BBY, FSLR, CY)
Jim considers Symetra Financial (NYSE: SYA) as a really good company and believes that it is undervalued. SYA’s shares gained 1.40% in after hours trading.
Jim recommended buying Weatherford International (NYSE: WFT), which has recently gotten some big contracts in Iraq. He said that WFT is a good way to gain exposure to Iraq. WFT rose 0.79% in after hours trading.
Cramer said that Smithfield Foods (NYSE: SFD) has had a good run and is not a buy at this price. SFD jumped 4.89% in yesterday’s trading.
Jim admitted that he was wrong when he expected Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) to go up at $40. The company’s quarterly results were just fine and the stock hasn’t moved up much. BBY’s shares gained 0.71% in yesterday’s trading.
On First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR), Cramer advised investors to turn their backs on solar plays, as they need federal help and are out of cash. FSLR’s shares jumped 4.10% yesterday.
Jim is emphatic on recommending Cypress Semiconductor (NYSE: CY) as a buy as they are at the middle of the Mobile Internet Tsunami. CY’s shares soared 4.73% in yesterday’s trading.
