Fast Money Picks For March 6th (GFI, QQQ, PLCE)
On CNBC's Fast Money, Tim Seymour suggested that investors should take a long position in Gold Fields Limited (ADR) (NYSE: GFI) on Tuesday. He said that gold stocks are trading in a 20% range, and currently they are near the bottom of the range. He would open a half of the position now, and a half 2% lower. Gold Fields Limited (ADR) (GFI) fell 2.15% today, and it closed at $15.17.
Karen Finerman wants to sell a part of her position in Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCE). The stock had a nice run, but she wants to be disciplined and take some off. Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc. (PLCE) gained 3.20%, and it closed at $53.51.
Brian Kelly would buy call options in PowerShares QQQ Trust, Series 1 (ETF) (NASDAQ: QQQ). He explained that the volatility is low. PowerShares QQQ Trust, Series 1 (ETF) (QQQ) fell 1.03%, and it closed at $64.20.
