Mad Money Lightning Round: Cramer Likes Southern Company
On CNBC's Mad Money, Jim Cramer said during the Lightning Round that Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX) has “done nothing recently but it's starting to more up."
For Southern Company (NYSE: SO), he said, "I feel so good about that stock. That's the kind of stock you want to own as part of a diversified portfolio."
He advises investors to buy VF Corp (NYSE: VFC).
For Arcos Dorados (NYSE: ARCO), Jim said, "Don't over think it. Why not just buy McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) with that great yield? That's the company you want."
Cramer likes Consolidated Edison (NYSE: ED).
For iShares Silver Trust (NYSE: SLV), he said, "I am luke warm on the SLV but I'm still bullish on the SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD)."
Cramer believes that Ford Motor (NYSE: F) is in a “holding pattern but it will go back to its 52-week highs."
For CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL), he said, "I think the Quest deal was good and the yield is good. I still like Windstream (NASDAQ: WIN) but I'm not backing away from CenturyTel."
