On CNBC's Mad Money, Jim Cramer said during the Lightning Round that Staples (NASDAQ: SPLS) had a “terrible quarter.” He doesn't like the stock.

Cramer said that Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA) is “too speculative.” He added, “I'd rather play it with NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG) or Eaton (NYSE: ETN) or even General Motors (NYSE: GM)."

He said that Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) is “OK now. They do have a problem with patent expirations, but they've made some cost cuts. Let's say its not as bad as it used to be."

For Ford Motor (NYSE: F), Cramer said, "People are worried about a strike and there's not enough earnings. I still like Ford but I like General Motors a little more right here."

Jim said that Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) is a “heavily shorted stock. I'm not a fan. I prefer Thompson Creek Metal (NYSE: TC)."
