Fast Money Pops & Drops, January 20th (WEN, YUM, MCD, ALTR, C, DDS, MNKD, CAVM, TER)
On CNBC's Fast Money Pops & Drops, Karen Finerman said that Wendy's Arby's Group Inc. (NYSE: WEN) jumped 6.94% today on the news that it is going to sell Arby's. She thinks that this could be a good decision, but she wouldn't stay in the stock, because she prefers Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) and McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD). McDonald's Corporation (MCD) fell 0.25% today, and closed at $75.16, and Yum! Brands, Inc. (YUM) dropped 1.32%.
Simon Baker explained that Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) dropped 2.84% today, after Citigroup (NYSE: C) downgraded it from buy to hold.
Brian Kelly said that he would sell Dillard's, Inc. (NYSE: DDS), after it spiked 11.77%. Dillard's, Inc. (DDS) traded higher after the announcement that it will form a real estate investment trust to increase its cash liquidity.
MannKind Corporation (NASDAQ: MNKD) dropped 32.27%, and Guy Adami said that at $6, no one knows how to trade this stock.
Cavium Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAVM) was downgraded today by Piper Jaffray, and it fell 8.35%. Joe Terranova said that he likes Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) better. Teradyne, Inc. (TER) dropped 2.19% today, and closed at $13.86.
