Jon Najarian of CNBC's Fast Money says that if you're selling stocks on the back of a weak consumer confidence reading you are wrong.
Najarian believes reports this coming week from Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR) and Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will tell us more about the consumer than the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index. These earnings reports will tell us what business and consumers are up to.
What these companies have to say during their conference calls will be closely watched.
