Market Is On The Cusp Of Recovery: Jim Paulsen Tells Barron’s

According to Jim Paulsen, chief strategist at Wells Capital Management, US is on the cusp of a robust economic recovery.

In an interview with Barron’s, he said that the markets will see a new secular bull run. He, however, admitted that he “blew it” by underestimating the intensity of 2008-09 crisis.

The chief strategist said that there are signs indicating the return of consumer confidence. Holiday shopping season data showed encouraging trend.

He also expressed his confidence in housing, and auto industries. According to him, both the industries have bottomed out, and are now moving in the positive direction.
