Google's Halloween Doodle Game Is A Top Trender Today; Here's How To Play

Got a few minutes to spare? If so check out Alphabet Inc GOOG GOOGL's Halloween-themed game, which is inspired by its Doodle.

Google is known for its Doodles — a special and temporary change to the logo on Google's homepage to celebrate a holiday, event, achievement or individual. On Monday, Google's Doodle is actually a game.

As noted by Fortune, a cat named Momo is on a special mission to rescue her school of magic. Users can help Momo by swiping the shape of a symbol that appears above a ghost's head such as a dash, arrow or lightning bolt. As the user progresses in the game, the level of difficulty increases.

Google stated in a blog post that the game features five levels in a school environment, including a library, cafeteria, classroom, gym and the school's rooftop.

"Doodling for a whole Doodle game was very exciting for us," the company said in its blog post. "We had so many ideas for elaborate symbols to draw, like a witch's hat that would appear on the character's head after it was drawn! In the end we decided that for a short game against the clock, simple was better. Plans like the "Eiffel Tower spell" were abandoned, and similarly, gag spells didn't make the cut. Regardless, we loved the process of dreaming up the possibilities."
