U.S. Dollar Index Trading Higher

The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 101.23, up 0.12. The U.S. dollar index is trading just under the session highs after showing a lower trade early in the session. Market chatter about global headline news and U.S. economic data due out ahead of Wednesday's Federal Reserve policy decision is making the rounds. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York Empire manufacturing activity survey is set for release Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
