EUR/USD Trading Lower, Euro Area GDP Edges Up

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0564, down 0.0015. Eurostat reported that Euro area gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.4 percent during the fourth quarter of 2016 versus a 0.3 percent in third quarter. Year over year, Euro area GDP rose 1.7 percent during the fourth quarter versus a rise of 1.7 percent in the third quarter.
