Cotton Futures Little Changed

March New York Cotton is trading at 75.63, down 0.08 cents/lb. May New York Cotton is trading at 77.21, down 0.07 cents/lb. Cotton futures are trading steady with a narrow range. Street estimates for U.S. planted area for this year are near 11.3 million acres. The USDA weekly cotton export data is due out at 8:30 a.m. ET. Market chatter about traders adjusting positions ahead of the exchange holiday on Monday is starting to show up.
