The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) monthly Cattle on Feed Report is scheduled for release at 3:00 p.m. ET. The average street estimate for cattle moving into feed yards (placements) during December is near 108.5 percent of last year. The range of estimates is 103.5 percent to 114 percent of a year ago. The average street estimate for cattle marketed ( marketings) is near 106.7 percent of a year ago. The range of estimates is 104.8 percent to 109.2 percent of a year ago. The street estimate for the January 1st on-feed cattle supply is around 99 percent of a year ago, the range of estimates is 94.4 percent to 100 percent of last year.
