Live Cattle Futures Little Higher

February live cattle is trading at 116.95, up 0.42 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 116.37, up 0.40 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.62, up 0.32 cents/lb Live cattle futures are trading steady to higher just after the open. Market talk about cash prices and weather has kept buyers and sellers active. Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 116,000 versus 110,000 a year ago.
