U.S. Dollar Index Little Higher Ahead of Data

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 101.01, up 0.15. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading choppy and just above the session lows. Market chatter about global headline news and U.S. economic data due out today is making the rounds. Markit's composite PMI and services PMI (purchasing managers surveys) are scheduled for release at 9:45 a.m. ET. The Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) Non-manufacturing survey is due out at 10:00 a.m. ET.
