NVIDIA Corporation NVDA shares are trading higher by $16.80 (23 percent) at $84.57 in Friday's session. The catalyst for the rally is a huge Q3 beat of $0.37 along with a $300 million beat for revenues.
The company guided higher Q4 and raised its quarterly dividend from $0.115 to $0.14.
Upon the release of the report after the close, the issue immediately began to move higher, climbing to the $80 area by the opening bell. Following a brief decline to $78.50, the rally continued.
It has continued to make new highs for the session, with the current one standing at $84.85. That's over $11 higher than its former all-time-high of $72.95 made last month.
