USDA Daily Hog Slaughter; Lean Hog Futures Soar

Friday's USDA hog slaughter was 403,000 head versus a year ago at 393,000 head. December lean hogs are trading at 47.05, up 1.67 cents/lb. February lean hogs are trading at 54.22, up 1.90 cents/lb. April lean hogs are trading at 61.90, up 2.02 cents/lb.
