December Corn is trading at 356, up 2 cents/bushel. March Corn is trading at 365 3/4 , up 1 3/4 cents/bushel. The weekly corn crop harvest report showed 46 percent of the U.S. corn crop was harvested versus 35 percent a week ago and 54 percent a year ago. The ten year average at this time of year is 45 percent. The weekly corn crop condition report showed 73 percent of the U.S. corn crop was rated good to excellent versus 73 percent a week ago and 68 percent a year ago. The ten year average at this time of year is 64 percent. The USDA reported on Monday that as of October 13th corn export inspections for the 2016-2017 marketing year are now 13.8 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 12.1 percent.
