EUR/USD Trading Higher Ahead of Data

EUR/USD is trading at 1.1237, up 0.0015. The pair is trading higher as European forex traders wind down trading for the day. Market chatter about money flows and global central bank monetary policy has kept both buyers and sellers active. Chatter about European economic data due out Friday is starting to show up. Germany's Federal Statistical Office scheduled to release retail sales data at 2:00 a.m. ET. France's INSEE is scheduled to release CPI (Consumer Price Index) household consumption and PPI (producer prices) at 2:45 a.m. ET. Italy's ISTAT is scheduled to release unemployment at 4:00 a.m. ET and CPI at 5:00 a.m. ET. Eurostat is scheduled to release Euro area unemployment data and CPI at 5:00 a.m. ET. Italian PPI is due out at 6:00 a.m. ET.
