Coffee Futures Little Changed

December New York Coffee is trading at 153.30, down 0.40 cents/lb. March New York Coffee is trading at 156.70, down 0.30 cents/lb. Coffee futures are trading a little lower and largely rangebound. Market talk about weather forecasts coffee growing areas in Brazil is making the rounds. Street estimates for global coffee production are now showing a decline of about 2 percent to 145.8 million bags. Trading is expected to be choppy with possible wide ranges as traders adjust positions into the end of the month.
