EUR/USD Little Changed, Italian Consumer Confidence Slips, Wages Flat

EUR/USD is trading at 1.1215, down 0.0002. Italy's ISTAT reported that September Italian consumer confidence slipped to 108.7 from 109.1. The agency said Italy's average hourly wages rose by 0.6 percent on the year in August, the same July. Wages in the private sector rose 0.8 percent and public administration were unchanged. On the month Italian workers wages were flat during August for the second month in a row. Business confidence edged higher to 101.9 in September from 101.1 in August.
