The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.07, down 0.18. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading just above the session lows. The Census Bureau reported that August retail sales fell 0.3 percent versus a 0.1 percent rise in July. The Department of Labor reported that weekly jobless claims rose 1000 to 260,000 from 259,000 last week.
