EUR/USD Little Changed, Euro Area Core CPI Slips

EUR/USD is trading at 1.1145, down 0.0004. The pair is trading steady early Wednesday morning. Market chatter about European headline news and comments from policy makers is making the rounds. Eurostat reported that unemployment in the Euro Area was 10.1 percent in July unchanged from June and down from 10.8 percent a year ago. The agency reported that year over year August Core CPI slipped to 0.8 percent versus 0.9 percent in July. August CPI (consumer prices) was 0.2 percent versus 0.2 in July.
