USDA Export Sales: Beef and Pork

The USDA reported today that pork weekly export sales for the period ending July 28th totaled 14,500 tonnes. sales were up 35 percent from the previous week and 31 percent from the four week average. Beef sales totaled 10,300 tonnes, down 50 percent from the previous week and 35 percent from the four week average.  October live cattle is trading at 115.10, down 0.05 cents/lb. October lean hogs are trading at 59.02, down 0.47 cents /lb.
